Re: Speed control
Put it in diagnostic mode, then drive the cart listening for beep codes.

Re: Speed control
Two beep means it's in in the Steep Hill mode, one beep means it is in All Terrain (Golf) mode.
Do you get any additional beeps when you drive cart while it is in diagnostic mode? (IE: One of the error codes listed on the controller cover label I posted) |

Re: Speed control
The chip code is sounded first then followed by a pause & any fault codes (if found).

Re: Speed control
Thank you very much you really helped me. I did not knwo you had to drive in Diagnostic mode (silly me) I was driving along and all of a sudden I went to what I assume is creep mode and when I opened the controller box I noticed that one of the wires on the solenoid coil was burnt and a (+) wire was burnt into the (-) wire. I assume this could be my problem and may have caused the coil burn out in the controller so it will not recognize the solenoid is actually energized. I had to jumper from the battery to get the cart to run (in creep mode). The blue wire coming crom the controller I removed because it wouldn't even emergize the horn or the solenoid. what I'd liek to do is byass and get the speed regulation to work. Those controllers arn't cheap... any ideas how I can bypass the controller for speed variation?

Re: Speed control
Specifically, what wires are burnt?
Please use this schematic to identify wire colors and where the go to and/or come from. -------------- Also, the solenoid does not click unless you jumper the terminal the Blue wire from J1 Pin-6 is supposed to be on, to B+ from battery pack? |
