Motors
Does anyone know if a 36volt motor from a 2005 model will fit in a 2001 model?

Re: Motors
Depends on the model of the carts. Look in the stickies if you are not sure to identify what you have. If they are the same type cart the motors should swap. But in example....... you can't swap a motor from a Series cart to a PDS.

(Series drive uses a series wound motor and PDS drive uses a Shunt wound motor.) If the F/R switch is by the drivers right knee, it is a series drive. If the F/R switch is a rocker switch on the dash and a Run/Tow switch on the controller cover, it is a PDS drive. If both carts have the same type drive (Series or PDS), the motors are probably interchangeable. |

Re: Motors
JohnnieB, you are the man when it comes to the sparkys but just a little more info. Just because the FNR is by your knee do not mean it is a series. I had a 2000 PDS cart that had it. The main thing here is does it have a run/tow.. Yes, sepex motor, No, series
