2004electric ezgo won't accelerate
Batteries about 3years old, clean, seem OK. Didn't have them load tested. Curtis controller voltage on one side goes from battery voltage too 0 during acceleration. Other Side only goes to 20 volts. All connections clean and tight. With cart stopped I can hold cart back at full throttle. Seem to pull a little harder with small throttle imput

Sounds like a bad battery pack or bad cables, but could be other things also. What is the pack voltage at rest? (Should be 38.2V for a fully charged 36V battery pack) What is the battery pack voltage when the cart takes off from a full stop? (Shouldn't drop more than about 5V from the at-rest voltage) In case we have to troubleshoot further, is it a series drive or PDS drive? Plug the serial number into this website and it tell you how the cart left the factory. http://www.shopezgo.com/customer-ser...ialNumber.html |
