J5 plug on alltrex controller
Just installing a new alltrex dcx 400 controller to replace my curtis controller. The alltrex came with an adapter to adapt to my wiring, however I cannot find out where to install my J5 (three plug red, white and red) speed sensor wire as I can't see a place to install it , even with the adapter.

Re: J5 plug on alltrex controller
Speed sensor is not used with Alltrax.
Secure the speed sensor lead so it does not hang down below cart. Happy Trails. |

Re: J5 plug on alltrex controller
Just to let you know,my cart goes 24mpg according to my portable garmin GPS.
The only thing I changed was the stock controller to a alltrex dcx400 and the solenoid.I already had 4 gauge battery cables. Mikey likes it! |

Re: J5 plug on alltrex controller
I'm guessing 22's based on that speed as I used to get 22mph on 20" tires, alltrax 400 and stock cc motor

Quote:
Devybob has a Western (EZGO with custom body and other stuff) with a Sepex motor and 42V battery pack. Normally an EZGO with a Sepex motor with a DCX400 and just a 36V battery pack gets close to 24MPH on 18" tires. (About 5500RPM at motor) |

I have stock 205x50 10 goodyear double eagles. The cart went 21 mph with the old setup.
