Smile Time to Upgrade the RXV

I have decided to use a 6" Jakes spindle lift on my RXV. I also plan to use the Rohx Black 8 spoke steel 12" wheels, with 22" Sahara classic tires. Y'all give me some pros and cons with this setup. I also am curious to know what offset wheels I will need. And, was wondering if anyone uses different offsets for the front and rear wheels, to make wheels look more evenly. Or, do most people use spacers in the rear. Let me know some opinions. Thanks.

Spacer in the rear to even the offset. Also I love the look of 14" rims on the RXV. There is plenty or room with a 6" lift to go up to a 25" tire if you want. I like the looks of a bigger rim and went with a 23" tire. Just my opinion.

You should have no issues with the 6" jakes lift. Spacers for the rear are on my to do list.

Anyone have personal experience with the Sahara tires, I would love some reviews.

Either one of yall upgrade the shocks or add heavy-duty springs? I plan to add the heavy duty springs in the rear, just wondering about the front. Thanks

I have the heavy rear springs and they do not ride as well as factory but, I can put as much weight as I want on the rear and it will not bottom out. The front doesn't need it as there is hardly any weight over the front wheels.

The front rides good. I have stock on the rear as well but when loaded down with 4 adults it don't take much to bottom out. I don't want heavy duty springs due to the rough ride when it is just 2 of us. I am thinking about removing the adapter for the rear shocks that is on the Jakes lift and getting adjustable coil over shocks that mount to the factory position. this would give me the option to adjust the rear suspension.

I also have the Sahara Classis 23 x 10 x 14 tires on my cart and love them. When I have gotten into soft spots they got me out and the noise level is minimal. Now I can here my Sahara tires over my stock tires on my stock cart but that is to be expected.

I like the idea of the coil over shocks, you have any leads on what shock would fit??

It has just been an idea in my head. I will be researching it and if I do it I will create a thread and take pictures.

Please keep us updated. I have the same problem with my RXV, and I'm not sure I want to go with the HD Springs.
