Which Light Kit for G16?
Hi guys...noob here with a question that I did search for first.
I recently got a 2000 G16 and have been looking at the different light kits. I se two different ones listed at the on-line stores. One, a Madjax MJLK3001, and other only listed as LGT353. One costs a good bit more than the other...but both have a push-pull switch, etc. I have no problem with spending a little more if it's better...but I'd sure be glad for some advice from those that may have used on or the other. Thanks! |

I have installed some of the madjax and they are not near as bright as the LGT-303 lights. I would look at getting the LGT-303L, which are LEDs and very bright.

Thanks Craig!
I've installed some LED aftermarket driving lights on cars, and didn't think they put light as well "down the road" as regular lamps..but I'll look into them. I appreciate the input on the different kits. One further question...I assume the amber parking lights come on with he headlights? |

Basic kit yes, if you get deluxe with turn signals and brake lights they work as blinkers. I put a set on my wife's cart and was amazed at how bright they are. I had to turn them down low to keep from blinding passers.

Some members like the "stream line" Yamaha OEM lites kit's on ther G16's/G22's

smallblock450sl...thanks for that. I was wondering how the "other style" lights looked on the earlier cars...hmmm...may be changing my mind...
Is that a Yamaha made kit? |
