Need engine and transmission info
My buddie has a 2006 yamaha pro hauler 700 that has some issues. Can anyone tell me what engine & transmission it has? What engine & transmissions will interchange?
The pro hauler was used in an industrial setting, basically rode hard and put up wet. We were able to get it running, but it smoked. I think it was overfilled from what I've read. the trans will not operate, I think it is locked up. My buddie partially disassembled it and broke something. It think it was part of the clutch, but cannot remember as its been a while. Anyway, he is needing parts or possibly a used trans for starters. Where should we look and what interchange options are available? I'm not familiar with yamaha and cannot figure out where to start. Any help is appreciated. |
