I have a few buddies that like to refurbish carts and sell them. Mostly CC's. When I asked them about batteries, the always think I have something better than 12v's. They have ordered the 8v style without even asking.
That's how things go to pot. |

I don't know how it had 6V batteries in it when I bought it and I replaced the batteries with the same. I will get the serial number in a couple of days to confirm the problem. Thanks again for all of your help.

also look on charger it should say 48v somewhere

The charger is a 48v but I still would like confirmation on the serial number

A = DS Electric Golf Car
96 = 1996 27 = 27th week of the year 508258 = carts serial number here are a few things to look at look on motor for volts round (3 prong) charger plug = 48v OBC = 48v battery light in dash = 48v check wiring diagram with your cart |
