Top swap for g14
My 1996 g14 is gonna need a new top for the winter makeover. Is it possible to go with the newer style top? I like the looks of the newer tops but the support posts and mounting is different than mine. Has anyone tried this successfully? If not I will move on to another line on my to do list.

A g16/g19 will work fine nothing different, except for the 2002's where new holes will have to be drilled into the seat back support bars. G22 will but will have to drill holes also in the seat back support bars and it will also take a different windshield than the g14,16,19.

thanks craig tn. That's a sharp g22 you have. not too flashy but extremely clean. Nice work. I like the look of the g22 top. If I can find a used one cheap, I think I will try to convert my g14 top to the 22.
