Default Do I have an IQ or an Excel System

Oops, first post and I hit the wrong key on previous post!!

Bought a used 2008 Club Car Precedent and am not sure whether system is an IQ or an Excel system. The serial number of the cart is CE0824-914417. I want to upgrade the controller or controller/motor/solenoid for more torque due to the hilly courses I play on, and am not sure what to use.

CE means Precedent Champion Electric. I think to be an IQ it has to have a Q in the serial number, so I would say you have an Excel. I know that the Excel system came out in 2008.
Oh yeah, and Welcome to BGW!

Yes for sure, Sepex and series are two totally different systems, and they can't be interchanged.
But we still need to figure out if it's IQ or Excel; both are sepex systems...

According to my information PD and PH were early Excel identification and Q was generally used for the IQ system. But there are exceptions in the ID system. Like the HD and FD Carryalls (IQ). This could still be an IQ cart?

David?

Controller is black, and controller model is 1510A-5251. Based on this, I guess it's an IQ system. Just wanted to be sure though, before I try an upgrade.

Is it a Curtis PMC? If so, definitely IQ...
