Wheel Bearing
2000 DS front hub inner wheel bearing : Are they pressed in or just sit in the race ? Had the front wheels off and pulled the hubs . I found one front inner to come right out after sliding off the spindle and the other side is pressed in or what seems to be pressed in . I stopped before I took out the BFH to fix it lol

Re: Wheel Bearing
I JUST got done doing mine....still have grease under my fingernails.....the back one is a little deceiving because the seal fits pretty tight.....I just used a socket extension and drove it out through the front side.....cant really pry it out from the back.....

Re: Wheel Bearing
. . . they are Timken bearings . . . the outer races are press fit but inner bearing are not . . assembly requires bearing assys be "loaded" properly when tightening, just like automotive wheel bearings . . .
