C/C DS missing front bumper
My guess is there is something more than the bumper missing. Anybody in the middle of a build with some pics of what it SHOULD look like?photo(9).jpg

There seem to also be some plates welded along the front of the frame. Can't tell if this was an attempt to fix it or a factory deal.

For some pictures - click the link in my signature for my build. Post #3 has some pics of what the piece that goes across the front of the frame should look like.
Also, I have no recollection of plates being welded along the frame on any CC I've seen, this sounds like someone's aftermarket attempt at making the frame stronger or fixing it. Pics of this would help us to determine for sure though. |

98 DS with plastic bumper removed. You can see that there is a metal portion of the frame for the bumper to mount to.
 I may have this bumper laying around. We left it off in pace of the winch mount. |

All I know is whatever is missing makes the whole steering column bounce like crazy. Seems a little odd that that one piece mounted on the front so the chassis can screw on to is all that stabilizes the front end. Here's the welded plates pic
