Default Power drive 3 charger

Customer brought in a power drive charger 3 and said when plugged into his 2008 precedent needle just vibrates but does not blow fuse.I hooked charger to one of my carts and it worked fine.Any ideas what the issue could be?
Thanks,Tom

Sounds like a OBC problem to me.

. . . . . . . if charger works on your cart, there is nothing wrong with the charger . . . it is the customer's cart that has an issue . . . as stated, probably an OBC/charge circuit problem . . .

. . . as Sergio mentioned, it could also be a bad battery/cell . . . load test batteries and check the SG of the individual cells first before throwing a new OBC at it first, unless you happen to have a known good OBC laying around you could swap out to test with . . .

If you could swap the batteries out of his cart with good batteries. And then retest that would be the easy way. That would take 20 minutes

We know the problem lies within his cart, since the charger worked fine on your cart.
I agree with the other replies, either OBC or bad battery...

I picked up his cart today and when I plug in his charger it comes on goes to 15 amps and needle vibrates and then goes back off and then it does not restart. So I'm thinking it can't read the obc.I have a lester discharge machine so I can diagnose a battery problem.
