charger or cart?
new to golf carts so I know pretty much nothing, just got a 1998 DS Club Car, put new batteries in it and now tring to charge, the charger is a power drive 48 volt club car charger. when i hook up the charger I get no responce from the charger even after wainting 10-20 min. Can anyone help me with this?

can you try the charger on another cart or get a known good charger to try on yours? what color is the dash battery light red or orange?................................

i am getting 48.7 volts across the battery bank and conector fuse in the yellow holder ohms good

the light is orange, dont have another cart to try the charger on but sure i can find one soon.

the orange battery light on the dash flashes for about 20 seconds goes out and flashes for 4-5- seconds

the reason i asked about the light was to get an idea if the OBC was ever replaced.........it was or you would have a red dash light.......and if you can try another charger on your cart or your charger on another cart it will let us know if problem is with your charger or your cart.........................

found my problem,I traced the wires from the plug on the cart and found i did not hook the postive cable back up when I put the new batteries in. Charging fine now!
