Electric ez-go, battery question
I just got a early ez-go, without batterys, can I wire 3 , 12 volt batterys, to see if the cart works. I don't want to spend 800 on batterys, then find out something is bad on the cart. Thanks

Re: Electric ez-go, battery question
yes but don't expect peak performance and if you are using cranking or starting batteries be careful you do not permanently damage the batteries by such use.

Re: Electric ez-go, battery question
Test it in forward and reverse. The reverse beeper should sound. The brakes should stop it going fast. Test the steering for excessive slop. Beyond that, listen to ScottyB. Do a visual exam on the frame and battery trays for corrosion. Look to see if the zerks appear to have been greased. Check tires for excess wear or dry rot. Make sure the charger works. Plan on replacing all high amperage cables, and possibly FNR.
All just bargaining info. |
