Re: TXT Roof Support Upgrade?
Yeah.....look.....even with the Grizzly Roll Cage if the cart should do a roll I don't expect the Cage to keep the cart from possibly rolling on me. What I do hope for is the cage will allow me enough time to get away from the cart.
It's like the "old days" of motocross racing. When you find yourself getting into trouble with a chunk of metal that weighs about 130+ lbs, you want to get away from that flying projectile as fast....and as far as you can. Even if your 25 feet in the air. I think the same holds true for a 1,000-lb cart. Get away from it and let it go. When it stops the sideways roll.....I'll figure out what needs done.....'cause I'll at least have my grey matter in tact to do so. |

Re: TXT Roof Support Upgrade?
Everyone makes very good points regarding the safety aspect and the strength of the roof supports, plastic roof, etc. Many zero turn mowers, tractors have a signular bar for ROP. I did see one offereing by Outback Outfitters with a similar concept of a singular bar vs entire cage. I was hoping to minimize the number of other components that would have to be modified or purchased with an entire cage such as roof and back seat. Does not seem like it will be easy to accomplish - appreciate the feedback.
