Default Solenoid

Could I put a 400 amp solenoid on my cart eve if I don't need it? Would it do any damage to the cart? Thanks

Default Re: Solenoid

The only damage will be to your pocketbook.
The stock Ezgo solenoid is 60 or 70 amps. A 400a solenoid will not fit on the OEM mounting bracket and I don't think the OEM environmental cover will fit over it.... but as far as your original question, the answer is no, a 400a solenoid will not hurt a stock control. Physically the MZJ200 would be a better fit
