Do New Batteries Need Water Less Than Old ?
I've had a new set of batteries for about 3 weeks and it looks like the fluid level is the same as it was the day I picked them up. Do new batteries need water less than old?

That has been my experience. New batteries may not need water for months but keep checking them because as soon as you stop they will conspire against you and make water disappear overnight.

Re: Do New Batteries Need Water Less Than Old ?
I check my batteries every time I come home off ship so they get checked once every 6 weeks. My cart is not used much while I'm gone and when not in use it is plugged into a 17 amp DPI charger that float charges right at 53.00 Volts 24/7 and to this day they have not needed any water at all. These batteries were installed July of 2014 and have been on the DPI charger since Nox 2014

Mine started using water when they hit 4 years. They used very little before that. They also were barely getting me through one round of golf.

It's this game where you chase this little white ball around an obstacle course with trees, sand, water, and these little 4 1/4 inch holes that sometimes get in the way.

I actually walk most of the time when I play (with a push cart for my clubs). I drive to the course in my cart. I need the exercise to burn off the beer that I consume afterwards.

I would walk but I need the cart to haul the beer I drink while playing. If I had to use a push or pull cart for that load I would have a stroke. Better safe than sorry.
