Default maybe this was under wrong thread

2001 club car electric... s/n ac0135-058037 controller model dcx300r10 put on 22s and now brakes are dragging. took brake cable loose at connectors under body to give cable some slack but didnt help. Any other suggestions? also cart jumps when accelerated, cant stop it from hopping.. I know this has been covered before but I have a hard time finding past posts. (dummy me)

Sounds like your axle turned and the self adjusters adjusted the brakes too tight. Jack cart up loosen U bolts reset axle, readjust brakes. Make sure you tighten U bolts evenly and tight.

And use a torque wrench...an earlier post said 75ft lbs.
