Just catching up on posts. Make sure he switches the 36 volts, and not the 12. Otherwise it will always be on. Speed reading, so this may have been addressed.
EDIT: just checking, because the question of 10 amps refers to 12 volts, not the 36 volt input, which - worst case - would be half that (assuming 50% efficiency). |

Scottyb has the best setup for this. But you can switch the cheap one you have. Like he said, even a light switch. I have done it.

We got it setup with my friends cart. The switch is on the 36 volt side.
When the reducer burns out...He will order a good one from Scottyb. We can start a pool bet on here how long it will last. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |
