Re: Anyone close to FL panhandle that wants to stretch a frame?
The kit includes an insert that slides into the frame rails front and rear about 4-5 inches and also has braces that bolt to the bottom to add more strength. We also threw a few welds in there for good measure. Can you build one yes but with this kit and another person I believe I could do one in a weekend now no problem. My dealer guys can do one in a day.

Re: Anyone close to FL panhandle that wants to stretch a frame?
I think the true basis of wanting to do it myself besides strength is length....I'm 6'7 and while I am more than comfortable with my standard golf cart/ room seems to be an issue in a standard shuttle. could I deal with it, Yes..... but if I am spending the money, I would prefer to have it more to my size. I know it will be a pain, but I have a cart to use and this can be a year long project for all I am concerned ..

Agreed. The factory stretch seems a little short in the front..

Re: Anyone close to FL panhandle that wants to stretch a frame?
I understand that this will bring in the next issue of having to fab rocker and floor pans and such , but I have access to that on a consistent basis. the welding is truly the only issue for me
