Default Battery Question

I have a 2013 Ezgo RvX Freedom golf cart. 48 volt. 4 X 12 volt batteries. It as US Batteries in it. Can I put the maintenance free batteries on it or do I have to keep using water filled batteries?
Thanks
Larry

You need golf cart batteries. I've never seen them in maintenance free. Unlike car batteries (cranking), which only get used a few seconds while cranking, deep cycle batteries are what you need.

Maybe these when or if they become available:

Trojan announced them quite awhile ago but website says "coming soon". Maybe they ran into technical issues.

Full River has AGM golf cart batteries (as do other manufacturers.)

http://www.fullriverbattery.com/appl...es#view-models

Thee DC-150-12 has the same AH rating as a Trojan T-1275.

Note: You'll have to get a charger that will charge AGM batteries properly. or they won't last very long!!!!!
