48v rxv high speed gear guys?????
Thinking of selling my yamaha g16 gas in favor for a 48v rxv
Any of you guys on here have any experience with the 8:1 high speed gears??? |

Stay away from 8:1 gears in a rxv. It will double your speed AND cut your braking power in half. Also will kill your power on hills. If 19mph is fast enough, skip gears & have "freedom mode" enabled at the Ezgo dealer. 19 mph with stock tires, You will get a little more speed with slightly larger tires/wheels too.

Don't do it....
Unsafe speed unsafe brakes..... Legal; problems/liability issues. Someone gets hurt in cart -- easy to prove you were operating unsafe and probably illegal vehicle |
