Default Manually charging club car 12volt batteries

I have 4 dead 12volt batteries and need to manually
charge them. I am new to club car 2006 and
Want to make sure there is nothing I need to do
Before using my car charger. Thank you for your input!

Standard car charger. You can make it safer always by disconnecting main pos and neg. Place in Tow mode etc. Other than that, if they are still salvageable you should be able to just hook up to each pos and neg post individually and charge as normal 12v

While nothing needs to be disconnected electrically in order to use an external 12v charger, You should disconnect the pack negative cable while You charge to allow the OBC to reset.

If You have a Sepex system, turn the Tow/Run switch to Tow before disconnecting the pack negative cable.

I have tried to manually recharge my batteries. They are all coming back as replace on my car charger. Can I replace with 4. 12volt duralast deep cycle
Batteries? Or do I need a certain kind?

Stick with golf cart style batteries as opposed to marine type deep cycles. There is a design difference in the plates.

Please read this thread http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...batteries.html for some real good and helpful information.

Can you charge two at the same time with separate chargers while leaving the pack connected?

Yes. Just hook to the individual batteries.
