I'm assuming thats the lithium battery pack in that battery box, I always wondered just how small those where.

I've dabbled in hobby grade R/Cs for last few years, and I know just how much punch a lithium battery can pack. This is def. a mod that I will do when I need batts.

Yup. Smashed the whole system into on cheap little 27 battery box. Its 42v and I was able to get 16 drive-able miles out of it, but I was deep into the rapid declining portion of the discharge curve. Ran it on the stock PDS controller and motor and was getting the expected 23mph.

AGPFL: I really like the color. Great look with the Double Take Spartan body and all of their trim stuff too; steering wheel, seats, wheels with orange inserts, column cover, etc. That is a nice install of the fuse panel, brake timer, and DC-DC converter.

I see you are using the old charging receptacle. Consider installing your charger in the cart and use this male receptacle for the bulkhead connection to 120VAC.

Now you just plug an extension cord into the cart. You can take the cord with you for recharge along the way if needed. A pain if you have to haul the charger along separately with the cart.
Here is a pic of a PDS cart at 42V with a double pack with on board charger.

agpfl, where did you get that backing plate? I have the same connector, am wiring my charger onboard also, but would really like a plate that fits cleanly.

Made the plate myself out of a piece of PVC project board I had from when I put in the bagwell liner. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Komatex-2...4106/300199676

Cut a piece to the rough size. Drilled holes from behind. Inserted rivets into holes and traced around them. Drew a line across from the outside edges of the rivets. Trimmed off excess with knife. Used hole bit on drill to make opening for the outlet. Riveted in and screwed in the outlet. Piece of cake. Less than a 30 min project.
