Re: Where to Start? - 2004 TXT (PDS)
Well looks like I'll be deleting Photobucket since they stopped allowing 3 party links. Anyways, click the link it should take you to the pic.

Re: Where to Start? - 2004 TXT (PDS)
Nice cart.
The black top is pricey and an option you don't see much. I'd upgrade the controller, solenoid and cables first if it was me. Then do the pretty stuff after. You could sell the old stuff to get some cash back. Check with Scottyb for those. |

Re: Where to Start? - 2004 TXT (PDS)
I'll check on those next. The back seat came yesterday and the 2" lift should be here today. While I understand the controller and solenoid are important upgrades, the wife wants it more functional for friends and family, hence the back seat. I had to really convince her to let me spend to upgrade the springs and shocks that are included in the 2" lift kit.

Re: Where to Start? - 2004 TXT (PDS)
Got my kits last Friday but had to contact EZ-GO for some missing parts in the lift kit. No response after 2 days so I just reused a couple nuts and 1 of the shock bushings. Got the back leaf springs in as well as the new rear shocks. Have to do the front springs still, but the cart rides much more stable. Going to get a pic next time I have a sec. Hopefully Thurs/Fri for the front springs and rear seat.

Re: Where to Start? - 2004 TXT (PDS)
Just curious, but i am looking to buy the same cart and trying to figure out a decent price that I can live with. The on I’m looking at has been parked for over a year(inside) and batteries are toast. Charger may be questionable. You mentioned that the batteries in yours were in working order. Mind if I asked what you paid for the cart?

Curious if the roof on your cart is black plastic or painted?
Thanks |
