Hopefully that battery was under some kind of warranty.

Walrus, glad you got it back going. Also thanks for letting everyone know what fixed the problem. The problem I was having with overheating was similar to yours. I use my cart for hunting and occasionally it would shut down for a few minutes and then continue on. I was told the pds carts are great for short runs but extended slow runs really heat them up. The fan really helped me a lot. Good luck.
