Issac put your charger on and let it charge till it shuts off on its own. 12 hours after charger shuts off battery pack should be 50.9v.

Now check each battery with the dvm. Write down each battery and we need to be precise. Write them down as four digits like 50.09v.

Also what is you total pack voltage?

The problem is a defective Motor Brake. The jump gives it away. The Motor Brake is not preventing the motor from turning during the motor twist test.

Issac Bob knows these RXV's inside and out. Very knowledgeable go with what he said. Here is a link to a great price on a motor brake.

Might want to check and be sure that the run plug is plugged into the socket underneath the bottom of the cupholder assembly. Also, unplug the harness from the motor brake and using your DVM, check the voltage at the 2 terminals of the harness plug when the cart is turned on and set to forward or reverse. Trying to eliminate other causes.

A few things that can cause a motor brake to fail to engage.

Defective motor brake itself.

Missing Run Plug (power and ground to motor brake pass through this).

Blown 7.5A fuse attached to controller cover (early RXVs did not have this).

Defective Normaly Closed side of brake switch on the brake pedal assembly.

Defective wiring harness (corrosion in or damage to the harness or splices).

Low battery bank voltage can affect the motor brake, but not the same symptoms.

I called twice. It went to voicemail and I left 2 messages. I live off-grid in a remote location where there are no cell towers near by. No long distance calling capabilities other than cellphone, which I must drive to a cellphone area to use.
