Lost reverse
I we were using the golf cart yesterday and then all of a sudden reverse just stopped working. no prior indication. Solenoids seems to be working. But honestly I'm not 100% were to put my meter to check for voltage drops. Forward works just fine. A series motor just used reverse polarity for reverse correct? So if forward works, the problem is not the motor? Everything else is less than a year old.

Re: Lost reverse
If it's a series drive cart and the solenoid is clicking in reverse it is most likely in the forward and reverse switch or cables.

Re: Lost reverse
You can switch the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock cables on the font and if the problem reverses that will confirm a bad fnr switch.

Re: Lost reverse
Thanks, I'll try to check out today. I hope it's not a the FNR solenoid. It's less than a year old. I'm not sure what kind of warranty ScottyB puts on those.
