Will pulsetech conductance analyzer work on golf cart
I'm having a charging issues and have tried a second charger. I was wanting to check Trojan T875 batteries. Someone let me use a pulsetech conductance analyzer but I do not know the settings to test with. I. Have tried to find the Manual but no luck. Tester is a 490pt model.
It asks for either CCA DIN JIS MCA or CA. I don't know which of this to use. I know this is vague but it gets the conversation started. |

Re: Will pulsetech conductance analyzer work on golf cart
I don't think that will do anything for you. That analyzer is intended for automotive 12 volt starting / charging systems. I don't think it will give meaningful information for your 48 volt, externally charged system - or the individual 8 volt batteries. Golf cart deep cycles are very different from 12 volt automotive stating batteries.

Thanks for the input. I was flying bind on that tester, never used one and the guy that let me borrow it wasn't sure if it would work or not.
