Thanks everyone! Luckily my kids are older (1 already has his license) and if they found the switch and I told them to not touch it, they wouldn't touch it. My biggest concern would be their driving ability/experience on a fast, small wheelbase vehicle.

I guess what I should have said is that I would like to have a switch to use as a kind of govenor for my kids and anyone else who may drive it - I would hate for someone to get hurt on it.
