The motor break is functional. with the break removed from the motor you can not rotate the motor with the key on in any position. with the key off and break removed from the motor it will turn freely. I will check the fuses this am. Thanks

That sounds like a bad controller. The only way the motor could be locked with the key on and the motor brake removed is if one or more of the motor drive H-Bridge output FETs are shorted and causing a magnetic lock in the motor. Or the motor is wired wrong, with DC being applied to two or more legs of the AC motor. The original controller would not have survived a flood condition. It has a small air vent hole that water would enter. Where did you buy your replacement controller from?

Bought from friend at cart store. I told him all this stuff had ben installed before and that may be why. Gonna tell him get another controller. Thanks
