Default Electric Cushman Hauler

Hello all, I'm back with more questions!

This week we are installing 4 new 8volt batteries, out of 9, on a 72 volt hauler. We have hooked all wires up the same as we got it, but now we are getting a larger than normal "spark" or arc as we hook up the very last smaller neg wire to the system...

a couple thoughts i have:

1. will an onboard deltaQ charger cause any issues with the re-install? (the small black wire that arcs i believe is from the charger).

2. there is no run/tow switch on this cart, which i found odd

3. maybe there is a bank of wires associated with charger i can disconnect then reconnect after hooking the system up?

Thanks for any help on this matter, I look here for many answers!
