This might be a dumb question but did you check if your motor was shorted?

I have checked. If you disconnect the motor completely the error still occurs :(

Update:

I went through just about everything with a voltage meter while taking direction from Alltrax support. All voltage appears good. We tested the resistance to the motor and that seems good as well.

It's looking like I actually got 2 defective controllers in a row..

Update: Alltrax is sending me a replacement controller. Their customer service is excellent...BWT

I get sent defective controllers, sometimes two in row far more often from FSIP, have yet to deal with bad out of box Alltrax anything yet (knock on wood)

Wow, never seen such things! Never heard of a hat trick. I can count on 2 fingers how many Alltrax's were bad out of the box in my experience (and I been at this a while). Not saying your situation was BS, and I hope someone at Alltrax is watching (T. T. Should be reading this).

Maybe a bad batch of a certain component? Interesting to know if the serial numbers were close.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. That being that it has to be nearly impossible. But.. Alltrax technical support went through everything with me and sure enough 2 bad controllers in a row..
