Default Powerdrive 2 relay bypass

I have not been able to get my DS cart to charge. Checked all wiring as explained on your site. I bypass the relay on my charger as explained in charger manual. Hooked it up it hums no amp reading. 0. Do I have to do anything to the OBC to get it to charge or am I missing something

I have a club car ser. AA0132-048321 -------6 - 8 volt batteries that 3 different chargers won't come on to charge ( they will charge another cart ) I have read and done all of the charging system troubleshooting. I do have power when I take the red and blue wire off of the charger relay and test it so I'm guessing the OBC is ok. I reset the OBC twice and all the fuses etc. check out. I'm guessing that something is still telling the charger not to come on. I've checked the batteries one each and as a bank. The cart will run fine in forward or reverse just won't charge. Thanks for any help

Bypass the OBC and see if the charger comes on.

To bypass it and test the OEM charger you need to run both the black 10g wire and the grey "sense" wire from the back of the charger receptacle that are going to the OBC and run them directly to the pack negative battery post. Plug the DC back in, then the AC, and it should come on now. (This is a manual operation and will not cut off. You will need to remove the AC, then DC at or around 61-63 volts.)

Silly question time - the wall outlet is switched on and working is it?

The reason I ask is because if mine is switched off and I plug in my PowerDrive charger it clicks and hums but no amps on the meter. When the wall outlet is switched on I get click, hum and amps and the charger works normally.
