Default Max rpm’s admiral motor?

Just got my mode lock 3 from Scotty, getting settings ready.

Anyone know of the max rpm for an admiral MOT-D2 ?

Alltrax will allow up to 8000 - thoughts?

Anything over 6000 rpms voids the warranty. I will post here important motor warranty (or 16 ways to void your warranty) for anybody reading this.

Thanks Scotty

I’ve already toasted a terminal that I’ve had to tap, so maybe I’ll guinea pig this one and max it out - then regret it -

Nevermind, I just read your cart description. I was going to say you will never reach 8000 rpm.

Ok - all hooked up but I’m not getting any separate settings- cart runs the same on all key positions.

Hoping I’m missing something

You need to enable your speed sensor setting and set the pole count to 4.

You need a lot more settings to correct as well, do you know how you are going to use the different modes?

Yes did that when installed - all are set to 4

Getting same results on all key settings - just fast - no kids slow zone

All your forward speed settings are 100% and the RPM slider is grayed out, I think that only shows up that way if the Speed Sensor is not enabled.

You really should enable your Speed Sensor, unless the pictures You posted were done before You enable it, the posted screen shots show the Speed Sensor is disabled.

You should not have a slider named "Forward Speed", that is controlled by adjusting the Max RPM slider, which yours shows it is disabled.

Make sure there is check mark on the "Enable Speed Limit" setting.

You can easily blow that motor going down hill if you have no RPM monitoring.

I don't know if You like Regen brake or not (I love it), but the Regen settings are not optimal.
