Default Micro switch question? 97 club car

1997 club car DS,48 volt,recently replaced micro switches on f/r and potentiometer,solenoid clicks as soon as you put in forward or reverse,not running, I think I have the wrong micro switch on the potentiometer,
1-will this cause this problem,2- will a EZgo ITS micro switch work,what should I check first

You have the wrong microswitch in the Vglide, it needs to have N.C. (normally closed) contacts.

How about the ones on the forward/reverse? They are the same ? Normally open or closed? 2 have two terminals,other has 3,

You can use the 3 terminal micro-switch for all the applications since it has both a N.O. and a N.C. contact.

If You look closely at the micro-switch in your Vglide, you will notice where the 3rd terminal should have been, closer to the screw that holds the switch.

You would move the Green wire there.
