Default 2005 EZ GO TXT Charger

I have a 2005 EZ GO TXT with a 28115 G04 charger. The charger stopped charging all together. I looked up all the trouble shooting procedures and everything passed. I unhooked the two black wires off the relay and connected them together. I was able to charge my cart to 37.5v and unplugged it. I ordered a new control board and put it in tonight. But it still will not charge (no sound or amp meter movement). Will the charger turn on at 37.5 volts? If so do you think I got a bad control board? Thanks.

Clean the auxiliary contact in the plug on the charger's output cable and the outside of the negative radsok in the charge receptacle.

Attachment-1 = plug showing aux contact
Attachment - 2 = Plug inserted into receptacle with tops off, aux contact shown toughing negative radsok.

When PW 28115 is plugged into cart, the cart's battery pack energizes relay in charger. Battery has to be above about 30V.

Also, PW 28115 charger ought to charge a 36V battery pack to 45V and beyond with relay bypassed. 37.5V is only about 80% charged.

Attached chart is for Trojan brand batteries.

Thank you Jonnie, feel stupid now. Just had this cart for about a week now. My grandfather passed away and I got it. Receptacle was full of dirt daubers. The plug would go in enough to make contact but not enough for the auxiliary contact.

I only let it charge to 37.5 because I did not want it to over charge.
