92 G8E 36V attempts to move in reverse but doesnt

I just got this cart. It runs and drives great forward. Switch to reverse and there’s no buzzer. The cart “motions” to the rear but doesn’t move. It only does that little motion once after switching to R and stepping on the pedal. You have to switch back to F, then to R again to get another reaction. There is a whining sound coming from the motor area. I have searched this issue to no avail. My solenoid clicks each time the pedal is pressed. I’d order a new F/R switch but they are ridiculously expensive in my opinion. Any help is appreciated.

Runs in reverse when jacked up off the ground, any thoughts? Motor issue?

Bad contacts in the F&R?

Nope, I shot everything. All works like it’s supposed to according to my volt meter.

What I don’t know is how much voltage is getting to the motor when it’s in reverse.

I,m betting on CG TECH,is it possible to reverse wires on F/R switch and see if it goes fast in reverse?
I,m new to this stuff,may not be possible,

Yes, flip any 2 opposing wires on back of F&R to verify F&R. Great idea.

So swap my R wire with either of the F1 or F2 and see what happens?
