Marathon FNR
Hello EZ-GO folks.
What is the difference between a 1993 and a 1994 Marathon FNR? Some sellers say fits "198X thru 1993" And some say "198X thru 1994." I have a 94 that may need a new FNR. Thanks in advance! |

Re: Marathon FNR
1994.5 saw the introduction of the floor mounted F&R switch.

Re: Marathon FNR
Thanks Scotty. This one must be an early 1994.

Re: Marathon FNR
The early 1994 was the late marathon. There were early marathon F&Rs with the rod and ball shifter that screwed into the side of the F&R center shaft. Then there were late marathon handles which had a retaining screw into the end of the center shaft. Both of these F&Rs mounted to the lip of the seat opening, front and center.

Re: Marathon FNR
Yep. That's what mine has. Screw in the center shaft, mounts at the top. Thanks.

Re: Marathon FNR
There are 2 different handles offered for this shaft. One I call the stove burner control and the other is a T handle.

Re: Marathon FNR
No. There must be 3 kinds. This must have been an option.

We've all been there, at one time or another.
