Need a LOT more details.

- 48v or 36v
- New to you or owned a while
- Anything been changed recently
- How old are the batteries
- What is the voltage of the pack at rest 12 hours after the charge completed
- Does this have an FNR lever or a Fwd/Rev rocker switch for the direction
- Stock tires or Oversized

First you will need to quantify "turtle speed". Use a GPS app on your phone to find out how fast you are really going.

Also is this turtle speed going up a hill or on flat ground? grass or pavement?

on grass, going up a hill, 7-8mph is probably about correct. And yes, it feels like you could get out and walk faster than the cart is going. Flat pavement, with the tires aired up (at least 15psi) 11-12mph is probably about all you can expect until you start modifying it.

Yes. And I would check air pressure first. Makes a big difference with these carts.

This question gets asked here every day. It is all relevant to what you want and what you consider "cheap."

Contact our site sponsor Dave at "Revolution Golf Cars." He is our resident expert on the cart you have and has all the parts and advice you need for installing them.
