Exclamation Club Car DS (Villager 6) Front Batteries

Hello BGW,
I have recently purchased a 2007 Club Car DS six seater and want to change its batteries. The back six batteries seem easy enough to remove and replace. The front two batteries, however; are much more problematic. I cannot figure out how to get them out of the front compartment without taking off what I assume is the controller. Can these batteries be removed without moving the controller? If so/not how can I remove the batteries?

Can you post a photo of what you are talking about? I have changed the batteries in all my DS carts over the years and never had to remove anything but the battery hold downs.

You must have some sort of specialty vehicle. Post some photos as Golf Cart Man has suggested so we can see what sort of 8 battery configuration you have.

Judging by the pics in the parts list for a (6 seater) Villager 6, it looks like the controller is mounted inside of the front seat pod,
I can see how removing the 2 front batteries would be difficult without removing the controller and misc.
I've never done it, so I'm not sure!
