Re: Help identifying a cart model
By the ser# you posted. EZGO web site says it is what I posted. And the controller is mounted right behind the F/R switch/passenger side of the cart on the series TXT

Re: Help identifying a cart model
Can you post picture of cart body. It's a series cart for sure.

Re: Help identifying a cart model
I understand that but this isn’t a typically series cart and that’s what I was trying to find out...trying to do some trouble shooting

Re: Help identifying a cart model
That's a ST body. Not a fleet body. It's an upgraded body used on maintenance utility carts. That front body was used on a variety of carts; ST, Workhorse, MPT800/1000/1200. Some had rear body that's the same as TXT (like yours) and others had a metal rear body. They are not as common or popular as the fleet TXT. However the chassis and powertrain and related are all TXT underpinnings. You have an upgraded speed controller that might have some of the high end features like motor braking. My MPT1000 has four drive modes that are programmable for more braking or less breaking. By the way. If you have problems with that controller it can be rebuilt successfully by a company in Pennsylvania think it's called Flight Controll systems FCS for short

Re: Help identifying a cart model
That controller(400amp) was standard equipment on some series TXTs. Shuttle 2+2 for sure and as we have learned on this forum even some standard golf models. I have one as shown in the pic. Possibly that cart is just what Rib says and someone lifted it and put on an ST/workhorse front cap on it.
The wiring diagram for a series TXT with a 4 blade controller should work. If controller replacement is necessary a 3 blade will due. Just run the wire from A2 on the motor directly to the F/R switch by passing the controller. |
