Default TXT reverse buzzer stays on..

I have a 2015 TXT with a 6 seat kit, new t875, navitas controller, 6 gauge wires, with basic lift and wheels. Reverse buzzer stays on unless cart is switched to tow. It isn’t as loud but still buzzing. Occasionally it will go off when I turn off key, but very seldom. Key switch has two wires only with separate hdlmp switch. The f-n-r switch is a rocker type facing up on a pod. It feels weaker switching to r than to f but I’ve had no issues with cart forward and reverse operation. Is this a common problem with a simple fix, is there a simple test or should I throw parts at it? Should I upgrade to hd? Also should I get bigger wires? I’m sure this issue has been beat to death, but I can’t find it. Someone please dumb this down for me?

Default Re: TXT reverse buzzer stays on..

Not familiar with the wire harness but I have had a similar issue. It was caused by an accessory that was feeding extra power to the speaker. I disconnected everything but the controller and then added back the down stepper, and other stuff to isolate the problem. Bad wiring was my issue. I had a voltmeter on that was causing the issue. Got a better one and it went away.

To isolate the issue that is not the controller in the Navitas app (Dealer version) turn off the reverse buzzer by setting it's value to "0". More than likely it is not the controller that is the issue but something else providing the reverse buzzer extra power.
