Default Lithium how much current is needed?

Looking at the lithium prismatic batteries with varying C rates and sizes, how much current is really needed?

5sec, 20 sec and continuous? Can any folks with data loggers offer input?

Say with a stock DS cart,

Lifted Cart with 500A controller

Lifted cart with 500A controller and upgraded motor, say AMD 7114

Monitoring data on my alltrax controller I have seen spikes of 400 amps for under a second and 250-300 for a second or two. Mostly seems to run around 100 give or take depending on driving factors, etc.

That's been close to my experience. Up steep hills 350-amps draw was "the norm". However, I set my controller to only allow (IIRC) 200-amps to be drawn from the pack. There was no significant difference in going up that same hill.....and I did this to allow the pack to provide more milage from a pack charge!

Thanks guys. Uphills with a couple heavier folks was one of my concerns. Very interesting that limiting controller amps didn’t decrease performance. If I may ask, stock motor or modified?

My controller is aftermarket (Alltrax) as well as my electric motor. I have a Plum Quick that is designed for torque and not speed.
