G9A will not go forward. It starts when selecter in forward position. It will go in reverse.

Most likely one or both forward reverse cables are bad. They work on a "push/pull" set up, so if one is bound or frozen, they can't move the lever on the transmission. I highly recomend changing both at the same time. Good luck

I have an identical problem. Whether the F/R lever-handle is placed Forward or Reverse, the cart just moves backwards. My clutch cables just came out of the box.

These cables are notorious for seizing up over time. Keep them sprayed with WD40 or some type of penetrating oil, especially back at the trans.

If you've installed new one's and the cart still will not shift right, its more than likely because they are not adjusted properly back at the trans or the bracket that holds the cables is off by a notch or two on the small shifter shaft coming out of the trans. Move the shifter back and forth and watch the shift bracket on the trans to see if it moves fully to the right and left.

Thank you for the advise. Will work on it today. I just noticed that the lever (in front of the tranny box) just swings one way. i.e clockwise (if you are facing it). Is it possible that the gears inside got stucked somehow?
