G16A Maintenance (Full Service)

I wanted to make a list of the G16A maintenance as a possible sticky. Thanks and credit to smallblock450sl for the original information

G16A Full Sevice:

• Replace spark plug (ngk-bpr2es).

• Replace air Filter and Pre filter.

• Replace fuel filter.

• Oil change (1 qt of multigrade).

• Clean Battery connections.

• Remove the battery and paint the battery tray to prevent it from rusting out.

• Check the kingpins for any play.

• Check the wheel bearings

• Check the primary clutch rollers for flat spots.

• Grease both the primary and secondary clutches (2 or 3 squirts each).

• Remove the brake drums (rough up the linings with 80 grit sandpaper, blow out dust)

• Lube the gas and brake peddle assembly.

• Change the differential oil if needed (80/90 weight).
