g1 brake problems
i press on the brakes the cart stops i give it gas and the brake stays down i have to manually pull it up any ideas

Very likely the brake pivot return spring is broken. The bolt/collar and bushings maybe corroded also. There is also an adjustment bolt for releasing the "sector", it has teeth that latch onto whats called the "nail". Take out the acsess panel and see whats going on. Maybe some pic's? Good luck Dave
