Default clutch issues

i have a 98 g8. i just rebuilt the moter and it runs in the cart but turns over extremly hard like the starter cant do it. then i notced when i have it in gear and hit the peddle the whole cart learches foroward with out evan bieng started just moving on the starter. so i loosend belt tension on drive belt and it still learches foward.

Sounds like the drive clutch (front) is sticking. Pull the cover off the drive clutch, clean it, and regrease by hand every moving part.

Is the belt at the top of the sleeves on the primary clutch(front) with out the cart running? If so a weight could be broke.

Sound like what my G22 does when I get water on the fuel pump air filter thingy. But you say its running, I have to keep letting mine do that until it dries out before it will run.
