What oil goes in a G1 trans. or gearbox.

Thats what I thought but what I drained out was reddish and didnt have the 80w 90 smell to it.

Check the specs.. If it calls for gear lube, might want to put it back in. Was it purchased used?

most if not all yammys call for 90 weight gear oil.
